Biography

Vincenza di Miceli is born and baptized on 8 June 1826. She is the daughter of Antonino di Miceli and Francesca Grizzaffi. Her godparents are Carmelo Ligotino and Maria Rosa Mannina, a newly married couple.[1]

Francesca dies by 1837, when Antonino remarries, to Maria Gammanta.

Vincenza marries at least twice, first to Michele Listi[2], son of Francesco Listi and Calogera Jemmula, on 12 February 1844. Francesca has died by this time.[3]

Vincenza and Michaele have at least three children: Vincenza (1847), Calogera (c. 1853), and Giovanni (c. 1854).

Vincenza Listi, the daughter of Michele Listi, a farmer, and Vincenza di Miceli, is born on 21 October 1847 in her parents' home on via San Michele Arcangelo in Corleone.[4]

Michele dies at the reported age of 40 in Corleone on 4 January 1856 after receiving last rites. His wife survives him. His parents predeceased him.[5]

Vincenza remarries, to Gaetano Cavallo (called Ciavarello in the record of Vincenza's death), son of the late Bernardo and Anna Pirricone, on 6 June 1858. Antonino has died.[6]

Vincenza, the daughter, marries Antonino Marino in Corleone on 17 November 1867.[7][8]

Calogera marries Giuseppe Listi her third cousin, once removed, on 26 October 1873.[9][10]

Calogera dies at the age of 35 (b. 1853) in January 1888. Her mother and husband survive her.[11]

Death of Vincenza

Vincenza dies, reportedly at age 65 (she is 64) on 30 January 1891. She has survived both her husbands.[12]
